Virca was born in 1955 by Virginio Caravati, entering the paper converting sector. In 1966 it acquired the well-known Hallmark brand for the distribution of greeting cards which, even today, places it as an established and well-known company in the sector. By subsequently acquiring the distribution of Peanuts (Snoopy) and Smurfs products, the company distinguished itself in the 1980s among the leaders in the gift sector as well. Over time, Virca has expanded its product offer, creating and distributing gift items for every occasion, always keeping up with the times and fashions of the moment. Since 2000 it has further expanded its proposal by including personalized gadgets and made with its own design, which is carefully designed and determined by careful marketing studies.
